The rights related to music
When we play music not in our home, not with our family or friends, then we need a licence from all parties involved in its production: the people who created it and those whose efforts brought it to usWe need a licence both from the collecting societies of the intellectual property rights of the composers and the lyric writers, and GEA, a Non-Profit Organisation of the Civil Law for the collection and collective management of the related rights of the performers, singers, musicians and producers.
We are obliged to pay certain remuneration for the intellectual property rights of the authors and the related rights of the performers, the musicians and the producers.
And this is fair.
Because music brings together musicians, producers, performers
and all of us who enjoy it.
Let's learn about the rights related to music,
so that it will keep on "breathing", it will keep on uniting us
