Hellenic Copyright OrganisationAll the Societies for the Collective Management of intellectual or related rights have obtained a licence from the Minister of Culture and Tourism and are supervised by the Hellenic Copyright Organisation (HCO), which is under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The mission of the HCO is the protection of the intellectual creators and the beneficiaries of related rights, the implementation of law 2121/1993, “on Intellectual Property and Related Rights” as it is valid today, as well as the relevant international treaties and the wider understanding of the application of the intellectual and related rights.
