NON-COMMERCIAL WEBCASTING SERVICES

 

Prerequisites :

  • They belong exclusively to natural persons
  • Number of channels: Up to 2
  • Potential concurrent listeners: up to 100 / channel

Payment:

Minimum fee 350.00 per year per channel, plus VAT

Clarification:

In case the number of channels or simultaneous listeners exceeds the set limit, then it falls into the minimum remuneration of the immediately higher category.

 

COMMERCIAL WEBCASTING SERVICES – TYPE A

 

Prerequisites :

  • They belong to legal entities / companies
  • Annual turnover: € 0.00 to € 5,000.00
  • Number of channels: Up to 3
  • Potential concurrent listeners: up to 500 / per channel

Payment:

Minimum fee € 450.00 per year per channel, plus VAT

Clarification:

In case the number of channels or simultaneous listeners exceeds the set limit, then it falls into the minimum remuneration of the immediately higher category.

 

COMMERCIAL WEBCASTING SERVICES – TYPE B

 

Prerequisites :

  • They belong to legal entities / companies
  • Annual turnover:> € 5,000.00
  • Number of channels: No limit
  • Potential concurrent listeners: No limit

Payment:

The highest amount of:

  1. Per channel:
    • For 1 channel: € 525.00 per year per channel, plus VAT
    • For 2 to 10 channels: € 420.00 per year per channel, plus VAT.
    • From 11 channels and up: € 350.00 per year per channel, plus VAT.
  1. Per track stream :
    • € 0.011 per track stream / performance (per recording per listener).
  1. Percentage fee :
    • 10.5% of gross income

According to art. 23 par. 2 ν. 4481/2017, the collective management organizations compile a list of the fees they require from the users, which must be disclosed to the public no longer by its publication in newspapers as in the past, but by online publication. By law: Collective management organizations, by decision of the Board of Directors, compile a list of fees required by users (payroll), which is notified to the public by posting on their website, as well as any changes and notified to OPI, immediately , in order to be posted on the website of the latter in a machine-readable format, in a fixed storage location and if possible it becomes accessible through application programming interfaces.

These posts are a prerequisite for the validity of the payroll. “In the formulation and implementation of their remuneration, collective management organizations must apply objective criteria, act arbitrarily and not discriminate abusively.”
